Forts & Fire Gnomes
Description: Our February break is designed to give students on break (follows Burlington’s school calendar) the opportunity to explore, play, and learn about the outdoors in winter. We’ll enter the world of our resident fire gnome, Dale, practicing the techniques of fire-making and cooking over an open flame. We’ll also build winter shelters, make wild teas, practice our winter survival skills and follow the footsteps of any creatures making tracks in the winter snow. The camp meets at Rock Point, where we can take advantage of our fire circles and enclosed shelters to stay cozy and safe in all temperatures.
Ages: Grades K-5
Dates: 9am-3:30pm daily, February 24-27, 2020.
Cost: $185 (contact us for information about scholarships)
