The Bard Owl Camp

Registration for summer 2019 is now open.

Harvesting the hollow stalks of knotweed to craft a natural flute. Carving rhythm sticks and collecting the perfect pieces of driftwood to keep the beat. Playing out wild stories with characters and costumes inspired by the land. Learning the language of bird song and how to imitate the calls of the Bard Owl. These types of adventures and more await you at Crow’s Path’s newest camp offering!

As intrinsic to the nature of being human as hunting or gathering (or later farming), are the bardic gifts of storytelling and music making. All of us, in our own unique ways, are gifted Bards. With the Bard Owl’s daily musings to guide us, we will discover and share the songs we’re meant to sing and the stories we’re meant to tell, the characters we alone can bring to life, the beats we need to drum, and dances we must dance. Each day’s co-creative adventures will culminate in a Friday Bardic Revels to celebrate and share our creations. Who who whooo would dare miss it?
