It’s a common refrain from parents at our kids programs: Why not something like this for adults? Well okay! We have lots of programs and opportunities for parents and adults to get involved. So dive into your own learning journey and explore the world around you through natural history and primitive skills, expand your awareness, skills, and sense of place. We offer several in-depth programs for adults, apprenticeships, workshops, and even a monthly gathering to explore and celebrate the unfolding story of the seasons. If you don’t see something that suits your needs, get in touch and we can work with you to design a custom experience.

Wild Burlington Lectures

Volunteer

We offer a number of college-level classes, public workshops, and field walks on ecology, primitive skills, natural history, and nature mentoring. For current and upcoming course offerings by our staff at CCV, visit: phyllotaxy.com

Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for the Wild Burlington Lectures. Deepen your naturalist skills as Teage O’Connor shares stories, photos, and science that highlight current events in the natural world. Lectures are open to adults of all skill levels.

Volunteering is the perfect opportunity for those looking for a wilderness and education immersion experience. Participants hone their mentoring skills while also receiving mentoring in natural history, mentoring, and primitive skills.
