PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Note: this program is mixed ages. You may register for afterschool as a standalone program or as an additional option for summer camps. Space is limited and not guaranteed for summer camp participants.

For youth (K-8th) summer camp participants, a staff member will walk the kids through the forest to our preschool basecamp. Pickup will be at this location (the woods behind North Ave Alliance Church: map).

Deep in the Arms Forest, after the school day is done, children gather in the magical wilderness that we call The Wildlands Afterschool Program….

Balancing the need for downtime after a long day with fun nature activities, each week is built around a theme (cats, dinosaurs, leaves, magic, etc), with a variety of stories, skills, games, and art.

Like many things at Crow’s Path, our afternoons will shift based on the weather and needs/interests of the children, but usually start with a healthy snack and book read-aloud. We’ll stay outside as much as weather and other factors allow, but we also have a semi-enclosed shelter with a firepit, and a fully indoor classroom.
