A field guide to identify Vermont’s wild trees by twigs and buds
Using clear, detailed photographs of 70 different species, this field guide to Vermont trees in winter illuminates the stunning diversity (and even, dare say I, charisma) of our native and wild trees’ twigs and buds. The guide is arranged by key winter features to guide you through the identification process. And a big thanks to Nina Jaffe for her proofreading prowess!
I will be printing up a waterproof, tearproof version of the field guide (similar to our field guide to the leaves of Vermont’s trees), but until then you’ll have to settle for the high-resolution PDF version of the guide available here.
