Using clear, detailed photographs of 70 different species, this field guide to Vermont trees in winter illuminates the stunning diversity (and even, dare say I, charisma) of our native and wild trees’ twigs and buds. I will be printing up a waterproof, tearproof version of the field guide (similar to our field guide to the leaves of Vermont’s trees), but until then you’ll have to settle for the high-resolution PDF version of the guide available here.
