Bronislaw Grala (Broni) is a local wildcrafter and folk-herbalist who has been living and learning from the land, people, and community in the Burlington, Vermont area (Abenaki territory) for about 25 years. He has worked a variety of professions, from Preschool Teacher to Security Professional, and more. Most of his time, however, is spent engaging in outdoor activities, wildcrafting or foraging, and continually learning about the plants, fungi, and other beings in nature that can provide us humans with such abundance in a variety of ways. After many years of working in the security field, Broni found that the best way he could give back to the community was not through enforcing certain rules, but through education and nurturing the youth here into the great people they all can be. With a deep love of the forests, fields, swamps, gardens, and other natural places, he humbly looks forward to exploring and growing with the great kids and teachers at Crow’s Path.
