B.S. Art Education, UVM (‘23)
First Aid, CPR
Carter grew up in upstate New York, hanging out in and around both the Adirondack and Green Mountains for a majority of his childhood. Hiking, climbing trees, and going on adventures in such a beautiful place instilled in him a need to spend time outside, and create a positive environment for people to hang out and learn outdoors!
He received a B.S. in Art Education from the University of Vermont in 2023, and has experience in a variety of childcare settings. He spent a season in the Colorado Rockies backpacking deep in the backcountry of the Rocky Mountains, building rock trails for hikers and doing as much rock climbing and hiking as possible in his free time! He is always eager to learn more about the outdoors and relay all of the information that he knows to students so they too can get excited about the world around them.
When he is not at Rock Point you can find Carter hiking in the Green Mountains, or across the lake in the High Peaks, doing some rock climbing at Petra Cliffs or the Bolton Dome, or working on an art project at home!
