Julia Cornell (She/Her)

Preschool Assistant Director

My name is Julia Cornell (she/her) and I am an educator, musician, artist, adventurer, children’s book enthusiast, dreamer, and flower fairy at heart. I am so delighted to be joining the Wilds family and look forward to meeting and connecting with you all as the summer goes on! I hold a bachelor’s degree from Lesley University where I studied expressive arts therapy and holistic psychology with the hopes of integrating my passion for the creative arts into the field of human services. Following graduation, I began working with preschool aged students and fell in love with their incredible sense of humor and infectious laughter, endless curiosity and creativity, love of adventure, and tendency to see the best in the world around them. Since then, I have been
working and learning alongside young children in a variety of different roles such as preschool teacher, early childhood music educator, after school arts instructor, preschool para-educator,
and children’s personal care assistant. It is my belief that all children should have access to safe and nurturing spaces where they can learn, play, grow, create, connect, inspire, and so much
more, and I am looking forward to facilitating such an environment through a play-based experiential learning lens, using nature as our classroom.
