Hi! My name is Kat O’Neill and I am so very grateful & excited to be a part of the Crow’s Path community! Some of my multitudes include outdoor educator, community herbalist, botanist, and part-time forest nymph. My deep love for & curiosity about the natural world led me to Vermont to pursue a degree in plant biology from UVM, where I developed a passion for making science accessible to minds of all ages and abilities. My dream is to foster the same sense of wonderment that led me along my path in the kiddos I mentor, and to be a guide in helping them find ways to learn and play that embody their unique affinities & learning styles. I am coming to this space as both a teacher and learner! I seek to uplift all of the beautiful insights, curiosities, and ways of knowing the kids and fellow mentors bring to our time in the woods & classroom. Outside of Crow’s Path you can find me behind the counter at the local apothecary, foraging in the woods, having mermaid time in the lake, dancing, making joyful art, and always always learning.
