Preschool Summer Job

The Wilds is looking for a full time summer camp teacher to join a group of creative and enthusiastic adults who are passionate about early education and sharing their love of the outdoors. The program has immediate access to Arms Forest and Rock Point and is within walking distance of many of Lake Champlain’s beaches.

We are looking for someone who will build strong relationships with each child to create a welcoming, joyful, and inclusive learning environment and work closely with co-teachers to create engaging activities. This person should have strong attention to detail and safety, but most of all, enjoy playing outside with others!

Staff arrive at 7:45am and leave at 3:45pm with kids attending 8:15am-3:15pm.

Employment is 10 total weeks at 40 hours/week. There is an orientation week June 17-21, and students start the week of June 24 and continue through the week of August 19-23 (a total of 9 weeks of summer camp).

Compensation starts at $20/hour and is commensurate with qualifications
