Abigail grew up in the coastal foothills of Northern California, a setting which inspired a deep love for all things wild. From building fairy houses with her sister in the oaks surrounding their home to hiking amongst the misty redwoods, most of Abigail’s favorite activities have long revolved around the natural world. She also knows the magic of camp, having spent time as a camper and a counselor at a farm-based summer camp, existing in sustainable community with people, animals, and the land. Her passion for being outdoors followed her as she moved across the country to study at the University of Vermont. Time spent in classrooms learning from mentor teachers and students was paired with time spent sitting, walking, and listening in the woods. She recently interned with The Wilds Preschool, which reinvigorated a desire to foster connection and curiosity with our natural world through her role as an educator. Abigail is overjoyed to be a part of the Crow’s Path community this summer!
