Preschool Staff

B.S. in Neuroscience (UVM)
CPR

During undergrad, Corttney began their work in preschools, a fulfilling and fitting use of their personality and skills. They became a special educator in classrooms where one-on-one support was needed to keep every kid safe and part of the community. They learned how important it was to them to emphasize inclusion and fell in love with the silliness and sweetness of preschool.

Corttney is fascinated with how every kid has a unique way of being. She loves to see the emergent interests of a group informing learning and play! She is thrilled to continue her transition to outdoor education after spending her first summer at Crow’s Path. She knows how important it is for her own body, as well as kids’, to be able to move freely and breathe deeply. She holds a deep appreciation for all members of her community (including animals and plants!) and hopes to grow recognition of our connection to nature and each other.

Corttney likes to spend her days exploring the world, creating art of all kinds, keeping her eyes peeled for little bits of magic, and nurturing her cat—Booboo.
