PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Our Middle School Apprentice program is for both returning and new Crow’s Path kids who want to lead transformative experiences for younger kids. Summer apprentices choose two camps from our wide range of offerings to help lead. After attend our week long staff training (June 13-17, 2022) they work directly with staff to lead games, facilitate activities, share stories, sing songs, and be an awesome role model for the younger campers
Each apprentice will learn a range of skills that vary from camp to camp. Apprentices do not need any prior experience with skills at a camp, just a sense of curiosity and excitement to learn. They will also receive feedback and guidance on being an effective leader from staff.
Space is limited to 2 apprentices per camp, so sign up early get the camps you want!
Current 6th Graders: Due to a high volume of applicants, we prioritize admitting older kids into the program, as they will be too old to participate in the following year. This means 6th graders are often at the bottom of the list (with the hope that they will participate in following years). Because of this, 6th graders can participate in summer camps as campers where they will have many of the same joys as apprenticing.
