** New project. I teach natural history courses at Sterling, CCV, and UVM. One of the things I tell my students is that the landscape is a language and you can learn to speak it and listen deeply to it. Part of this is knowing who lives where and why. Each semester my students write entries that I compile into a dictionary for the class. This semester we’ll be adding these entries to an online dictionary.
