The Wildlands Afterschool
The Wildlands Afterschool program is a mixed ages program that balances the need for downtime after a long day with fun, hands-on outdoor activities. Each week is built around a theme (cats, dinosaurs, leaves, magic, etc), with a variety of stories, skills, games, and art. Afterschool programs run from 3:15–5:15 pm Monday through Friday. The Journey Afterschool (5th–8th)
A perfect blend of storytelling, role-playing game, world-building, and primitive skills. This afterschool program allows middle schoolers the space to collaboratively build a world and immerse themselves in its lore.
Grades: 5th–8th
Hours: 3:15–5:00pm
Location: 901 North Ave, Burlington, VT 05408 (North Alliance Church), Burlington, VT, with direct access to over 150 acres of forest and shoreline to explore through the Arms Forest and Rock Point.
Field School & Summer camp option
We offer an afterschool option for Field School participants during the school year and for summer camps based at Rock Point. Participants walk over to the preschool base camp at the end of each day, and pick up is at North Alliance Church.
